Top 5 iOS Music and Podcasts Apps in Switzerland: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top music and podcasts apps on iOS in Switzerland showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts exhibited a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $14 in both early and late March. Downloads decreased from 5.6K at the start of the quarter to around 3.2K by the end. However, active users consistently grew, reaching over 809K by March's end.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 2.9K to 1.5K. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable with fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 207K.

Play SRF: Streaming TV & Radio experienced a decrease in downloads, starting at 2.7K and dropping to just under 1K. Active users showed some variation, peaking at over 80K in late January before settling around 66K by March.

Swiss Radio / Schweiz / Suisse had a notable decline in weekly revenue from $1.2K to approximately $265. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 4.1K to 869. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 8.8K.

YouTube Music maintained high revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak of $100.7K in late February. Downloads remained fairly stable, averaging just over 1.2K weekly. Active users showed resilience, ending March with approximately 75.4K.
